Kate and the Self Care Support Team

Kate ForestKate Forest, RYT is a Self Care and Mindful Living Teacher, the Creator of Self Care Moments™ and Self Care Yoga®, a Speaker, Trainer, and a World Care Advocate.

She has been sharing her mindful approach to living and learning with universities and schools for nearly two decades, and has helped empower thousands of people to release stress, build focus, and strengthen their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical health.

With a certificate in Mindfulness in Education, along with completion of The Fundamentals of Co-Active Coaching, and extensive training and advanced level certification in the practice of Yoga and Mindfulness, Kate is bringing her message that Self Care is World Care and World Care is Self Care to schools throughout the USA.

Kate’s mission is to bring her short, simple  mindfulness-based self care skills to adults, adolescents, and children worldwide.

When you create space in your busy life to care kindly for yourself – even a few moments at a time – you have greater health, plus more energy, patience, compassion, courage, and awareness.

This positive energy ripples out and affects your relationships, your communities, and our entire world in positive and peaceful ways as you lead by example and inspire others to grow in kindness and take action with you.

Melissa DoeMelissa Doe, M.Ed. is a Physical Education and Health Teacher at Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham MA. She has nineteen years of experience teaching, coaching, and advising at the middle and high school levels, and was the MRHS 2012 Teacher of The Year recipient.

Melissa is a longtime student of Self Care Moments™ and shares these teachings of social, emotional and physical health with her students and school community. She supports the creation of this curriculum with Kate Forest, and at times assists with workshops, trainings, and Self Care Gatherings.
